Project Description:
This project will include replacement of 15,000 lf of 4-inch, 6-inch, and 8-inch water main City wide. Water mains are located on Balboa Street between Pollard and Cambridge; on Magellan, Balboa, and Coronado Streets between Swann and Columbus; and along Grant, Carriage, Colonial and Stanton south of Woods Chapel Rd.
Project Rationale:
The existing mains have had numerous breaks due to corrosion of existing pipes, resulting in service outages and high repair costs in these areas.
