Project Description:

This sanitary sewer improvement project consists of completing the Sewer System Evaluation Survey (SSES) and the I/I rehabilitation work identified in the Sewer System Evaluation Surveys in watersheds CC-16, CC-20, and WPL-6.

Project Rationale:

This project will serve existing customers by identifying infiltration and inflow (I/I) sources, and the development of a plan for rehabilitation to reduce the extraneous wastewater from these sources.

Status Details:

The Engineer and City staff have identified private I&I defects following property inspections in the Cedar Creek 16 & 20 Sub-basins. A pilot of 12 properties with known I&I defects are currently involved in the City's Cedar Creek CC-16 and CC-20 Watershed Sub-basin Inflow and Infiltration Reduction Program. The pilot will be evaluated before the I&I reduction program will be applied to the additional properties with known I&I defects in the Cedar Creek 16 &20 Sub-basins.
