Project Description:

This project involves the construction of an interchange at Strother Road and I- 470 Highway. In addition to the TIF/TDD funding, $8 million of federal funding is available for construction.

Project Rationale:

As development continues in this area traffic demands will warrant an interchange between Colbern Road and Woods Chapel on I-470. This project will provide additional access to the Airport and developments west of I-470 and open up the property east of I-470 for future developments.

Status Details:

The Todd George Parkway has started construction in July, 2010. Receieved concurrence from MoDOT and instructed to proceed with Pre-Bid meetings. The Strother Interchange has been completed and is open to traffic. A walk through to create a punchlist will be accomplished by City personnel.
