The basin and sewer will serve existing and new development in the area including the Stoney Creek, Parkwood, Meadows of Summit Ridge and Arbor Walk subdivisions.

The basin is needed to handle peak wet weather flows that exceed the capacity of the existing Little Blue Valley Sewer District line under Raintree Lake.
