Project Description:

This project involves the construction of a new residential collector road from M-291 Highway to Birchwood Drive including a bridge. The total length of the roadway is approximately 3,500 feet. The project includes new sidewalk, curb and gutter, and storm drainage inprovements. The completed concept report outlines 3 proposed alignments for the bridge over the creek, right of way acquistionsj, park land conversion and estimated construction cost.

Project Rationale:

This road will be an east-west route for residential traffic to and from the Foxwood and Bordner subdivisions. This project is part of the 1997 Road Sales and Excise Tax program.

Status Details:

Currently, and in the forseeable future, there is no significant traffic demand for this project. Funding from the City's Excise Tax is not sufficient for this project. Since there is no significant need for this project and insufficient funding, it will be deferred indefinitely.
