Project Description:

Approximately 1.8 MG of storage for peak wet weather flows from the East Prairie Watershed (EPL). Phase 1 of this project will serve the existing Summit Mill subdivision as well as the Woods property that has been annexed into the City. The Excess Flow Holding Basin (EFHB) is required for development of Woods property and the EPL watershed. This project is fully funded by the Sewer Tap Fee. The developer of the annexed property will reimburse the City for a portion of the costs in accordance with the pre- annexation agreement.

Project Rationale:

This basin will serve exsiting and future customers by reducing peak wet weather flows to downstream sewers and reducing overflows.

Status Details:

The contractor has completed the access road and has installed the 24 inch pipes to the existing wet well.
